ANNA FINE JEWELLERY:
Ethical goldsmith, Anna Mcloughlin, specialises in wedding and engagement rings. She is just over the bridge in Gloucestershire but Anna LOVES to bring new life to old pieces of jewellery hidden away in drawers, by remodelling them into beautiful new items that you’ll want to treasure and wear every day! Of course if you haven’t got any old jewellery, Anna also works with “new” recycled or fair trade silver, gold, platinum and palladium, lab grown diamonds and ethically mined gemstones. http://www.annafinejewellery.co.uk @annafinejewelleryuk
BOMBUS ARTISANAL:
Specialising in repurposing textile waste, Bombus Artisanal creates a range of bags, scrunchies & other accessories from donated clothing and unused textiles that may have gone to landfill otherwise. Many bags are one-of-a-kind, the textiles leading the way for the style and aesthetic of each one. You’ll find denim scrap patchwork next to cute lace bags from this small South Wales brand. Sustainability is one of the core values woven into Bombus from zero waste design to free lifetime repairs on most products. Proudly a LGBTQ+ run business, 25% of sales from Bombus’ Pride collection is donated to Trans Aid Cymru. Amber, the one person team behind Bombus, is dedicated to creating a more sustainable, inclusive fashion industry – one upcycled product at a time.

DÉJÀ VU:
Déjà Vu is a pre-loved boutique in the heart of Pontcanna. Our aim is to provide a hassle-free option for selling your second-hand clothes. Our curated womenswear has a focus on timeless fashion that can be loved again and again.
At Déjà Vu, we believe that every piece has a story, and we are here to help you tell it. We carefully select each item to ensure that it meets our standards of quality and style.
We believe in the power of reusing clothes that are still in great condition and promoting timeless pieces that never go out of style. Fashion deserves to be enjoyed more than once and by as many as possible. A coat cannot be loved from the back of your wardrobe! Our aim is to normalise the idea of second-hand clothing and bring awareness to the fast fashion crisis that our environment is facing. By shopping with us, you can help tackle these issues whilst also saving money.

DELICIOUS MONSTER TEA:
Delicious Monster Tea started very much by accident: I was wearing a t-shirt that I had embroidered a little slogan onto when a stranger approached me, asking where I had bought my t-shirt from. In my quietest voice I said, “I made it” and ta-dah! I’d found my very first customer. By 2018, I was able to take the leap and quit my office job to become a full-time embroideress. Whether it’s a t-shirt for your best friend, embroidered with an inside joke, or a wedding hanky for your sister, embroidered with a love note in the handwriting of your late Nana, everything that I make and sell is designed to last. My t-shirts, baby grows, cardigans and handkerchiefs can all be machine washed, and I hope that these keepsake gifts will be cherished for years. As a small business, I am very conscious of the impact that my products have on the environment. I continuously review my processes, suppliers and materials to ensure that my business and products are as sustainable as they can be.

ELENA CONTI DESIGNS:
Elena Conti Designs is based in Cowbridge in south Wales and their motto is to wear not waste! They create hats hand crafted from abandoned 100% cashmere or lambswool jumpers that otherwise could have either been downcycled or even worse, ending up in landfill. They are true sustainable luxury and due to the nature of the material sourcing process all designs are unique!

ELIZA ELIZA:
Created by Cardiff designer maker Elizabeth, Eliza Eliza creates bags using sustainable materials such as hemp which feature truly unique prints, representing her passions and partnerships with charitable causes. Research led Elizabeth to discover hemp and the world of organic fabrics opened up to her. Hemp is a sustainable crop due to not needing as much water or pesticides as cotton. By supporting Eliza Eliza, you are making a change and raising awareness on these causes.

ETHICAL BOUTIQUE:
The Ethical Boutique is part of the SAFE Foundation, a Cardiff-based charity committed to improving the lives of some of the most marginalised people and communities in the world.
In the Spring of 2018 we launched our first Ethical Boutique at 31 Whitchurch Road, Cardiff.
We have always wanted to have a shop front but after years of teaching and learning about ethical consumerism and the way we shop – and who it affects – we knew that now was the time.
Our boutique sells vintage, up-cycled clothes and donations and homewares and isn’t your typical charity shop. We have the cool factor (or at least, that’s what we are telling ourselves).
